Getting Here

Buchanan Galleries is in the heart of Glasgow city centre, one of the best shopping areas in the UK.

We're located on the corner of Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street, and you'll find entrances on both streets.

As we're in the city centre we're very handy for public transport.  We're next to Queen Street train station, Buchanan Street subway station and Buchanan bus station. Glasgow Central train station is 5 minutes' walk away.

The Buchanan Galleries car park is right next to the centre and is open every day until 11.30pm.  You can enter the car park using the entrances on Killermont Street and Cathedral Street.

If you're using a route finder or sat nav, use either postcode G2 3NW as your destination. This isn't the postcode for the centre, but it will direct you to our car park entrance.

By Car

We have some of the best parking rates in the city and our car park is open until 11.30pm every night.

To find our carpark from the M8, take junction 15, 16 or 17, and follow the signs for 'North Car Parks' and then 'Buchanan Galleries'.

If you're coming from the north of the city, approach along North Hanover Street and turn onto Killermont Street (beside the bus station). Once you've made the turn, you'll see the car park entrance immediately ahead of you.

If you're coming from the South, you may find it easier to use our entrance on Cathedral Street.

If you're using a route finder or sat nav, use postcode G2 3NW as your destination. This isn't the postcode for the centre, but it will direct you to our car park entrance.

Once you've parked, the shops can be accessed via Level 3 across a link bridge.

For information on car parking, see our Car Park section below.

Car Park

Our car park is open until 11.30pm each day, and opens at 7.30am Monday-Saturday, and 9:00am on Sundays and public holidays. The car park has two entrances - one on Killermont Street, the other on Cathedral Street.

Once you're parked, a link bridge will take you right into Buchanan Galleries, so you don't even have to go outside. Park on level 3 for direct access to the shops, or on level 5 for direct access to John Lewis.

John Lewis customer collection is on car park level 2 (at the Killermont Street entrance/exit).

Disabled Parking

Our disabled spaces are spread across levels 2 - 5 of our car park. You'll find these spaces on level 2 near to the John Lewis Customer Collection Point.

Please note that, in order to stop abuse of disabled parking spaces, we now fine anyone parking in a disabled bay without displaying a blue badge.

If you've any problems with disabled parking, or feel that you're entitled to park in a disabled bay but don't have a badge, please speak with one of our car park staff before you leave your car.
