Clarins have brought out a lovely set of three Limited Edition silver compacts inset with single gemstones, in Christmas bauble colours of red, gold and purple. If you’re doing some Christmas shopping then you could do worse than one, or all of these, as gorgeous gifts.
The Topaz Face Compact has translucent powder with the lightest touch of gold iridescence; the Amethyst Eye Compact has four lovely shadows in bronze, silver, damson and gold shades, and the Ruby Lip Compact contains four lovely lip colours in coral, rose, pink and copper. It’s time to get your knitting needles out and help Origins help homelessness charity Shelter in a fantastic initiative. This December, Origins will donate £1 from the sale of every Ginger Essence Sensuous Skin Scent (£32.50, John Lewis), and each bottle comes with its own little homemade festive woolly scarf. If you want to knit a scarf, then choose your favourite Christmas colour, from red, green or gold, for the wool, and start knitting by casting on four stitches and then knitting down for forty rows. SAGE is maybe a strange herbal scent to add to you bath or shower, but trust me, Philosophy’s Sage Memory Set is lovely.
