Buchanan Galleries shopping centre is in the middle of Glasgow city centre, and the heart of a city which loves to shop. We’re home to around 90 of the best retail names, including stores which aren’t found anywhere else in Glasgow – or even Scotland.

Current works
We’ve started work on what could be considered the first stage of the exciting development works for Buchanan Galleries – and we’ll be open for business as usual while this happens.
Although not part of the formal development plans for the centre, we’re transforming the south end of Buchanan Galleries to create 4 new stores. Two of the new shops will face onto Buchanan Street with large double-height glass fronts. The other two new stores will be inside the centre.
At the same time some of the stairs at our Buchanan Street entrance will be replaced with a gentle slope in front of the two new stores, to make access easier.
There is considerable interest from retailers looking to take up the new stores, and we’re looking forward to sharing with you who they’ll be over the next few months.
Work started late September 2007 and are scheduled to be finished by next summer.
In the meantime, it’s definitely business as usual for Buchanan Galleries. We’re trying not to cause any disruption with the works, but would like to thank you for your patience while the improvements are being made.
