Big changes are happening at John Lewis' flagship Glasgow store, as the £20 million pound refurbishment is now underway! From exciting new brands and expanded departments to enhanced shopping experiences and expert services, the refurbishment is bringing a whole new feel to the much-loved store at Buchanan Galleries.
And there's already plenty to discover! With a brand-new Sports department, exciting additions to Womenswear and more names joining the line-up. Here's everything you need to know, with all the latest updates as they happen to follow...

SEE WHAT'S NEW
Fashion lovers can discover an exciting line-up of new names on Floor 1, from premium denim favourites PAIGE, FRAME and Good American to designer labels including Weekend MaxMara, Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren. Plus, explore trend-led collections from Free People, Faithfull, TOPSHOP and Barbour – perfect for refreshing your wardrobe with the new season’s must-haves.
And that’s not all! The new enhanced Sports department is now open, with an expanded selection of sportswear, footwear, fitness equipment and wellbeing essentials. Discover brands including Nike, Brooks, Patagonia, Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Therabody, Peloton and more, with a dedicated women's golf range also on the way.
Elsewhere in-store, look out for dedicated shopping spaces from LEGO, Levi's and Start-Rite, alongside luxury skincare brand La Mer.

The transformation is far from over, with even more exciting changes on the horizon at John Lewis Glasgow!
Home is getting a whole new look, with an expanded homeware offering on Floor 2 and a bespoke home design service to help you bring your interiors inspiration to life. Look out for the arrival of Tapi Carpets, bringing even more choice for your next home refresh.
Beauty lovers are in for a treat, too! A brand-new Jo Malone London shop will bring its much-loved fragrances, candles and more to the store, complete with a personalised engraving station – perfect for thoughtful gifts and special occasions.
And the store is set to welcome two exciting beauty experiences: an Estée Lauder walk-through shop and DCYPHER, offering innovative technology to help customers discover personalised beauty products.
What's coming next?
Fashion is getting a refresh, with plans for an enhanced Womenswear department, a brand-new styling studio and dedicated footwear and lingerie areas, bringing a more premium shopping experience to John Lewis Glasgow.
There's also a luxury piercing studio from Tish Lyon on the way, alongside Platter, a refreshed dining experience offering another reason to make a day of your visit.
And for food lovers, there's already something new to discover! Lina Stores has joined the food gifting section, bringing a taste of the iconic Italian deli to John Lewis Glasgow – perfect for discovering something a little different or picking up a delicious gift.
